Job Description

Our MEMCO Denver area branch is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Staffing Office Manager to lead our Denver Office operations. This position plays a critical role in recruiting skilled and general labor for construction clients, managing office personnel, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a customer-focused mindset, and a deep understanding of the fast-paced and compliance-driven construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including team supervision, scheduling, and client coordination.
  • Lead and coach recruiters and administrative staff to meet fill ratios, assignment starts, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics (e.g., job fill rates, turnover, time-to-fill) and implement improvements as needed.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting for a wide range of construction roles including general laborers, skilled trades, and site supervisors.
  • Manage onboarding processes including E-Verify, background checks, safety orientations, and PPE distribution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for construction clients, responding promptly to workforce requests, jobsite needs, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand jobsite expectations and safety standards.
  • Proactively build relationships with new and existing clients to support business growth trough customer service and networking
  • Coordinate incident reports, injury follow-ups, and workers’ compensation documentation.
  • Promote a safety-first culture through regular communication, toolbox talks, and training follow-ups.
  • Oversee accurate timekeeping, payroll submissions, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Maintain organized records for clients, employees, and branch operations.
  • Support internal audits and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce management (construction industry preferred).
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, ideally within a staffing agency or construction-related business.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check Requirements

Preferred Traits:

  • Vast Knowledge of the Construction Trades and/or Construction Industry
  • Ability to manage multiple job orders and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable visiting job sites to conduct safety visits, client check-ins, and field support
  • Passion for workforce development and helping skilled workers succeed
  • Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Based Salary between $70,000 & 75,000 /Year based on experience plus yearly bonuses based on performance.
